I was the Chief Operating Officer for a Type A General Law City in Central Texas from January 2019 to March 2023. My duties included budget preparation and maintenance, human resources, grant writing and administration, project management, economic development, general management of over 30 employees, and policy creation and implementation. I was blessed with a good team that I helped strengthen. Together, we were able to achieve the following results:

• More than $25 million has been invested in Fairfield in the past three years through retail and light industrial development.

• Increased sales tax by $500,000 in three years

• Secured more than $1 million in grant funding through CDBG, ARPA, CRF, and TDEM funds.

• Negotiated $4.6 million water infrastructure project with Texas Department of Criminal Justice.

• Instituted new personnel pay and grade scale.

• Secured more funding for capital improvements and capital purchases for the police and fire departments.

• Completed rebranding program along with website redesign.

• Created city data portal and data visualizations for city work, and city projects.
